2 week website FAQ’s


What’s included in the 2 week website package?

You will receive 1 completely customized Squarespace website, designed for both desktop and mobile, including:

• Up to 7 pages

• Mobile responsive design

• SEO

• Unlimited revisions during 2 week build

• 1 hour initial consultation

• 1 hour lesson & launch call

• Customized training video library

How long does our project take?

2 weeks! We begin on a Monday and your project will be completed the second Friday.

When are payments due?

I split the total intro three payments:

  • First payment is due the day you book your project (this holds your spot on my calendar!).

  • Second payment is due on the first Monday of your website build.

  • Third payment is due on the last day of our 2 week design period, just before we launch your site.

Which Squarespace plan do I need?

The plan depends on what features and functionality your website will have. I’ll help you pick the best plan for you when we get on our lesson & launch call on the final day of the design period. 

As a perk of working with me, a member of the Squarespace Circle, you’ll receive 20% off your Squarespace plan for the first year!

I heard Squarespace uses templates. Will you pick the template or do I?

With the new version of Squarespace (7.1) all templates are actually part of the same family, which means they are all interchangeable, eliminating the need to be locked into one specific template. 

When does my content need to be ready?

In order for us to make the most effective use of our 2 weeks together, we’ll need your content submitted by the Thursday before your design period. This includes ALL images and copy (text) for your site.

Eeeek, I don’t think my content will be ready in time! Can we push my design date back by a couple days?

To be fair to you, and every other client in the design calendar, I stick firmly to my design schedule. All my clients would be upset if I pushed back their design date because a client earlier in the schedule wasn’t ready.

If you’re worried you won’t be able to meet the content deadlines, send me an email (lora@loraamigo.com) and I’ll let you know the next available date in my design calendar.

Please note, 6 business days or later after booking, there are financial repercussions to changing your design date.

Your first deposit holds your place in the design calendar, and that spot is no longer available to be booked by anyone else. If you change your design date within 5 business days of booking, your deposit will be used to hold your new date in the design calendar. 

If you change your design date 6 business days or later after booking, your deposit cannot be used towards another design date and will not be refunded.
